We’re looking for a passionate volunteer to join us in Mombasa, Kenya, for an exciting Children’s Library and Education Centre Reorganisation Project!
For 4-6 weeks in April & May 2025, you’ll help revitalise Kenya’s first free children’s library, supporting thousands of young learners. This is more than just a reorganisation—it’s a chance to make a lasting impact on education and be part of something truly transformative.
What’s involved?
– Re-organising and cataloguing 11,500+ books
– Creating engaging learning spaces and visual displays
– Supporting students with educational activities
– Helping to shape a space that inspires young minds
What’s included?
– Return flights to Mombasa
– Accommodation & local transport
– Daily stipend of £10 (5 days a week)
– Free weekends to explore the culture & community
