Voice Manager

Job: Voice Manager.

Function: Marketing.

Reporting to: Head of Voice.

Job Purpose:

Implement and ensure that the Voice products are as per the agreed marketing submissions in respect to tariffs, product performance and customer experience.

Key Result Areas

  • Continuously review the current product portfolio, ensure that it is in line with market trends, and implement changes as per the agreed strategy.
  • Leverage market research & get consumer insights into voice consumer behaviour and preferences to drive future promotions.
  • Monitor and track daily activities and take remedial action where activities are off target.
  • Launch segmented products to acquire Voice revenue-earning customers.
  • Develop new products and initiatives for trade in line with benchmarking and transfer of best practices across zones.
  • Traction of usage pattern to devise growth of Average Revenue Per User.
  • Monitor competitor offerings in respect to core products.
  • Coordinate new product configuration, testing development and go to market.
  • Grow voice customer base.
  • Monitor and track daily activities and take remedial action where activities are off target.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Post-graduate qualification (e.g. CIM).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a marketing position, with a focus on product development.
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience.
  • Experience in the Telecommunications Industry or FMCG marketing environment.
  • Able to operate in a performance-driven organization.
  • Affinity with and technical knowledge of the latest technologies and services used within the industry and affiliated industries.
  • Excellent Data analysis and Excel skills, SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
