About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled and experienced Vendor Experience Agent to work in Uganda.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit high levels of Vendor management skills, show ability to coordinate and cooperate with third-party (Vendors)while observing and abiding with the company policy and processes to ensure that both parties’ benefit.
- Show meticulous analysis of the vendor issues or claims (with a focus on features and pricing), risk and security, compliance to ensure continuity.
- Ability to assess the vendor performance on a regular interval – describe the metrics you use to analyze successful vendor relations.
- Agent’s work would involve building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers to turn a regular business transaction into a long-standing partnership.
- Sustaining an effective vendor relationship by identifying the vendor pain points, coming up with the best approaches to support the vendors.
- Should not involve in any form of fraud with the vendor as this will lead to immediate termination.
- Vendor management requires the art of reading beyond the fine print in contracts, that’s why you should qualify your meticulous attention to detail with results.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years previous experience in vendor management
