The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is a statutory body established under the Communications Act 2013 to regulate the Telecommunications, Data communications, Broadcasting, Postal and Radio communications and Infrastructure. Job Title: Senior Officer Licensing

Reports to: Manager Licensing

Job Purpose: To prepare and review the Commission’s legal cases, instruments, and documents and conduct research to provide advice that protects the Commission’s interests, in particular the Commission’s licensing mandate.

Job Purpose: To contribute to efficiency in court proceedings by participating in court processes and maintaining accurate legal records.
Job Title: Technician General Duties

Reports to: Senior Officer Estates Management
Duty Station: UCC House, Bugolobi
Job Purpose: To oversee the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of all Electromechanical and electronics systems and equipment within the facilities owned and/or rented by the Commission.
Job Title: Officer Multimedia Sector Performance
Job Grade: UCC6
Reports to: Senior Officer Standards
Duty Station: UCC House, Bugolobi
Job Purpose: To evaluate and enhance the performance of the multimedia sector in Uganda by monitoring industry trends, supporting content development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting the growth of high-quality local content.
Job Title: Officer Technical Support

Reports to: Senior Officer Regional Office
Duty Station: Masindi Regional Office
Job Purpose: To support the execution of technical responsibilities at the Regional Office in alignment with the mission of the Commission
Job Title: Senior Officer Monitoring & Evaluation
Job Grade: UCC5
Reports to: Manager Projects Monitoring & Evaluation
Duty Station: UCC House, Bugolobi
Job Purpose : To support the implementation of the monitoring and eval: uation plans and activities related to the various UCUSAF project initiatives in line with the Communications Act, UCUSAF regulations, strategic plan, UCUSAF M&E framework and international best practices
