Job Description
- Coca-Cola Nigeria is seeking experienced Trailer Drivers to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain the vehicle in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive company-assigned trailers to transport Coca-Cola products to various locations.
- Maintain accurate trip records, delivery logs, and fuel usage reports.
- Load and unload goods as necessary, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the trailer.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers and distribution centers.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues for maintenance.
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- Educational Qualification: Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in any field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience driving heavy-duty trucks or trailers.
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading tasks when required.
- Valid Driver’s License: Class Gdriver’s license, with certification for heavy-duty vehicles.
- Good knowledge of Nigerian roads, traffic regulations, and safety protocols.
Preferred Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
