Position: Tele sales Officer – Watu Shule Uganda

Location: Kampala, Mbale, Mbarara, Gulu & Kampala

Company Overview:

Watu Shule Uganda is a driving license school under the purview/umbrella of Watu Credit Uganda. This school provides specialized training programs and license loan services tailored to two-wheeler public transport motorcyclists. It aims to address the need for comprehensive training and affordable license acquisition options for individuals operating two-wheelers as part of the public transport system

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Tele Sales Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of Watu Shule by engaging existing

Watu Credit clients and encouraging them to enroll in our driving school program. Your responsibilities will

include:

Client Outreach:

  • Contact existing Watu Credit clients via phone to introduce them to and convert them to Watu Shule’s services
  • Establish rapport and build strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and motivations

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Watu Shule’s offerings, including course details, schedules, and benefits
  • Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Watu Shule to clients

Consultative Selling:

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify clients’ specific driver training requirements
  • Tailor solutions to match individual client needs, emphasizing the advantages of enrolling in Watu Shule

Client Education:

  • Provide comprehensive information to clients about the benefits of driver training, road safety, and compliance with traffic regulations
  • Address client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and accuracy

Enrollment Facilitation:

  • Guide clients through the enrollment process, assisting with paperwork and requirements
  • Collaborate with the Watu Shule enrollment team to ensure a seamless transition for clients

Relationship Management:

  • Maintain a database of client interactions, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Regularly follow up with clients to track their progress and address any issues or concerns

Targets and Reporting:

  • Meet or exceed monthly enrollment targets as set by the Project Manager
  • Provide regular reports on client interactions, conversions, and challenges faced

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Sales Experience: Proven track record in tele-sales or customer-focused roles, with experience in consultative selling
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and persuasion abilities with ability to speak a minimum of 5 of the following languages: English, Luganda, Lugishu, Ateso, Jopadhola (Adhola), Lusoga, Samia, Kumam, Ateso, Runyakitara, & Luo
  • Product Knowledge: Quick and thorough understanding of Watu Shule’s driving school programs and their benefits
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Target-Driven: Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with the Watu Shule team and other departments
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and market dynamics
  • Ethical Conduct: Uphold high ethical standards in all interactions with clients
