Job Description
We are hiring a Technical Project Manager role to assist in managing technical resources, allocate responsibilities and ensure that engineering tasks are completed to specification within an established timeframe and budget. To excel in this role, you should have high coordination and planning skills coupled with excellent communication.
- High-level documentation of new features to ensure requirements are well documented and understood.
- Coordinate new feature implementation by translating requirements into specific tasks.
- Documenting tasks on Jira and allocating tasks to the engineering team in coordination with the Engineering Lead and maintaining constant follow-through to ensure successful implementation and deployment.
- Play the role of scrum master and oversee the scrum process while creating a framework in which every team member can do their best work to meet a common goal.
- Follow up with implementation leads on the tasks status of various projects to ensure all tasks are completed on time without fail.
- Provide feedback and reports to the stakeholders on the status of the various projects and improve the project’s implementation process.
Requirements
- At Least 2 years experience in implementing software projects or product management.
- At Least 2 years experience managing software engineers.
- At Least 1 year experience in a tech company.
- Working experience as a project manager or product manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, IT, projects management, or related field.
- A PMP certification is an added advantage
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development process and tech.
- Solid understanding of product technicalities like API, ERP integrations etc.
- Extensive experience in software development life cycle and project management.
- Strong understanding of agile project management methodologies.
- Strong Knowledge of using Project Tracking Tools like Jira, Trello etc.
