Tax Assistant

Role /Purpose
To provide support to the firm’s tax advisory unit by adhering to tax professional standards and ethics.

Reporting line
Report directly to the Tax Senior
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Tax Ledger Reviews: Regular reviews and reconciliations are crucial to fully leverage available tax
waivers.
• EFRIS Compliance: Transact exclusively with registered members to secure eligibility for VAT credits
and Income Tax deductions.
• Gross Loss Scrutiny: Review your business model and maintain robust justification (including transfer
pricing documentation, if applicable) for any reported gross loss.
• Stamp Duty Obligations: Ensure timely payment of stamp duty on all applicable agreements
(employment contracts, rental agreements, client contracts, etc.).

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in any field.

Experience
Tax working experience and has completed LDC and PODITRA is an added advantage.

Competencies
Be able to deliver first-class client service and work effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
Can prioritize own workload.
