Job Summary: This role covers all systems – ERP/POS/E-commerce platforms and all such systems as will support the business in customer service, distribution, and sales. This scope does not include accounting packages, although it is expected that the role works closely with the accounts office and has a fair understanding of all systems used by the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- The role holder must be able to run the system as the main administrator, with in-depth understanding of all use cases.
- They must also have the ability to extract reports and summarize, triangulate and circulate such reports to a diverse audience, including the Directors, managers, accountants, external stakeholders and the sales team.
- Deliver quality actionable business insights that can be exploited for business
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy at all times
- In a fast-changing business environment, distributors are required to keep a pace with technological, regulatory and competitor trends.
- The super user must be progressive in learning new technology, skills and reporting to best deliver for the business.
- Run a daily performance summary for the director.
- Generate insights for stock management, and Stock Reconciliations.
- Generate insights for the sales team
- Run the morning clinic based on performance
- Inform the business on potential short-term risks
- Actively manage master data (price groups, customer information, discount setups, routes, journey plans)
- Generate performance data for people management
- Advise on route and journey plan feasibility
- Manage order placement through the system.
- Maintain contact with technical team on system stability
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Graduate, preferred in business computing, statistics, IT or other relevant course with a bias for numbers
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in an FMCG environment in a similar role
- Agile and fast paced
- Flexible and willing to learn
- Easily adapts to change
- Great communication skills
- Confident and able to challenge
