Job Summary:

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analystto join our team. The ideal candidate will have up to 3 years of experience in supply chain management and a strong passion for improving operational efficiency. In this role, you will support the end-to-end supply chain process, focusing on optimizing inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, and logistics. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure that all supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the import process to ensure compliant, timely, and accurate stock movements, which includes import documentation, shipment coordination, customs clearance, etc.
  • Process all customs clearing related documents and ensures relevant deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate activities of clearing agents and ensure clearing costs are in line with approved tariffs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and vendors including freight forwarders and shipping lines.
  • Assess vendors operations and enforce compliance with quality standards and agreed SLAs.
  • Analyze clearing cost and clearing time to drive cost efficiency and delivery of shipment OTIF.
  • Manage Alliance’s statement of account with all shipping line and terminal operator to ensure that our account is not blocked for transaction.
  • Follow up with shipping lines for refunds, waivers for clearing cost efficiency.
  • Track shipments from port of loading to port of destination.
  • Track and follow up shipments end-to-end to ensure arrival within agreed timelines.
  • Implement import and export documentation compliance processes and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to all Internal Business Controls.
  • Participates in the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) through relevant supply chain reporting and summary of key supply constraints and risks.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure shipments are done on schedules, and adequate documentation accompany shipments.
  • Ensure Exchange Control Documents (ECD) are promptly submitted to Authorized Dealer Banks.
  • Prepare weekly report on import and export activities.
  • Collate and maintain database of supply chain data relating to import, export and local delivery operations to find bottlenecks and areas of improvements.
  • Communicate urgent issues promptly to superior and other reporting mechanisms to enable swift action.

Requirements:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Up to 3 years of experience working in supply chain management or in a related field.
  • Familiarity with Customs, CBN, NAFDAC and SON regulations as it relates to product import and export.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of supply chain software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, problem-solving mindset, and a keen interest in optimizing processes and improving supply chain efficiency.

Salary:

  • Competitive salary range between 300,000 to 350,000 Nairaper month, based on experience and qualifications.
