Location: EPZ Athi River
Key responsibilities for this role include: –
- Receiving and issuing of inventory both physically and in the ERP
- Plan and lead both scheduled and random stock take exercise
- Implement and maintain 65/6K, housekeeping at the warehouse and shop floor.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc Inventory reports and analysis.
- Analyze stock movement reports and variances, investigate discrepancies in stocks, initiate root cause analysis and recommend corrective action.
- Monitor stock levels at all locations, trends, consumption, and production forecasts.
- Place inventory requisition at re-order level.
- Ensure that FIFO and the 10 golden rules of storage are followed.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, work experience, skills, and knowledge required for this role: –
- A Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Stores management/ Procurement/Supply chain management from a reputable institution
- High Proficiency in the use of MS Office and experience in using an ERP system
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to produce reports as and when required
- Ability to work well with a diverse team
- Proven ability to multi-task and plan for work
- Good customer care skills
- Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and integrity.
- At least 2 (two years of experience in handling stores in a manufacturing environment.
