STOREKEEPER [1 Position]
We are seeking a skilled professional storekeeper to join our Protea team.
Requirements and skills
- Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field as a storekeeper.
- Have proper knowledge of the Materials Control System. (MC)
- Ability to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation through the MC.
- Ensure that all store requisitions and GRNs are signed by concerned Department Heads (HOD’s) and approved depending upon the hotel’s operations procedure.
- Ability to work closely with Cost Controls and Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment.
- Responsible for the day-to-day check on and issuing of items from the storage facilities to user departments.
- Ability to partake in all stock take exercises as need arises and end month closure.
- Ability to perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
