REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of fiber optic cables, their properties, and handling.
- Skilled in using OTDRs and other optical test tools.
- Expert in troubleshooting and resolving splicing issues quickly.
- Proficient in preparing and installing fiber cables before splicing.
- Ability to read and interpret fiber designs and KMZ files.
- Skilled in splicing within enclosures and ODFs.
- Troubleshooting and maintenance within SLA agreements.
- Conduct thorough site surveys for network requirements and deployment.
- Strong leadership abilities to guide teams.
- Efficient in managing time and resources to meet deadlines.
- Creative and critical thinker for problem-solving.
- Professional client interaction and service delivery.
- Willingness to work overtime when required.
- Maintain detailed records and accurate reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree/Diploma in IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with a reputable ISP
- Work at height certification and safety training
- Certified optic technician certification
- Valid driving license with 3 + years of driving experience.
