SME Relationship Manager

Description

  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with current SME clients.
  • Perform regular check-ins and conduct business reviews to gain insights into client requirements and improve overall satisfaction.
  • Identify prospective SME clients and formulate outreach strategies.
  • Advocate for the company’s lending products and services specifically designed for SMEs.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales objectives related to loan origination.
  • Evaluate the financial stability of SMEs through the analysis of financial statements and credit histories.
  • Support clients in comprehending loan prerequisites and the documentation necessary for approval.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and risk management teams to facilitate the prompt processing of loan applications.
  • Ensure that all lending practices adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Remain updated on industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape.
  • Provide insights to management regarding product offerings and client needs.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An advanced degree such as a Master’s or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA or CPA) is an advantage
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in relationship management, sales, or lending within the financial services industry is required, with a preference for candidates with experience working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets is essential.
