General Summary
The SSSA is a member of the security and facilities management team within the Operations Unit under the Finance and administration department. The overarching task for the SSSA, which include but not limited to: Facilities site supervisions, Monitoring and supervising the performance of the external guards, detection and prevention of crime, incident reporting, security risk assessments, records management, and safety of all facilities related incidences to ensure effective and efficient operations
Key Responsibilities
- Provides and/or implements security and safety protocols for all assigned facilities.
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the project’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure
- Conducts regular sites inspections for assigned facilities
- Responsible for opening and closing all the IDI assigned facilities offices as per the recommended timelines
- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over
- Where necessary, monitoring surveillance cameras to watch out for any disruptions or unlawful activities
- Providing reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management
- In liaison with the SSTL, supports in testing security systems in use
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner
- Work hand in hand with the Security Team in reporting and following up on security-related incidences.
- Maintaining daily records (keys, clearance forms, staff attendance, incidence reports,) etc.
- Work hand in hand with the External Security guards deployed at various rented facilities across the district’s offices.
- Support and coordinate infrastructure projects, supervise facilities maintenance, fittings and repairs
- Supervise the contracted companies carrying out the cleaning and waste management within the facilities
- Keep records of all maintenance work, occupational health and safety and asset inventory
- Manage the firefighting equipment and fire detection devices available on the premises
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Respond to emergencies when called upon.

- At least class “A” Valid Driving/riding permit
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and excel packages
