Dumez Nigeria Limited, an Engineering and Construction company, is recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Interpreting and understanding construction drawings and specifications.
- Conducting site surveys and establishing site control points.
- Setting out construction lines and levels on site
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and permits
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents
- Maintaining detailed site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and inspection reports
- Maintaining detailed site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and inspection reports
- Inspect work in progress to maintain quality control standards
- Supervise construction crews, assigning tasks and coordinating their activities on site
- Manage site logistics, including equipment and access control
- Enforce all safety regulations on site, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing potential hazards
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Architecture (A Master Degree will be an added advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be available to resume immediately.
- Technical knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and project management methodologies
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a team effectively.
