SITE CLERK

The site clerk will be accountable for handling construction materials and also help with day-to-day and monthly programming of work.

Duties and responsibilities

  • To support the Construction Site Staff with administrative duties and site documentation
  • Keeps records of all resources deployed to the site and their allocation (Labor, materials, equipment)
  • Timely Placement of Orders to Maintain Inventory of Required Site Materials
  • Documenting the daily work done
  • Order and Maintain Office Supplies

Skills

  • Broad knowledge of the construction industry covering materials, trades, building methods, and legal requirements
  • Must be honest and reliable to the employer
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Observational skills – Keen to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Good written communication skills, for completing paperwork and compiling reports
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications. especially, Word & Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in construction-related field, administrative or accounting skills will be an added advantage
  • Experience – at least 3 years in a construction environment handling similar works
