We are reposting this advert as we seek to attract more candidates for the position of Service and Bar Manager at our vibrant community bistro, Tasca Hardy, located in Karen, Nairobi.
We are looking for someone who is not only experienced in bar operations and service management but also genuinely enjoys interacting with people. You don’t need to have been a Bar Director or Manager, but you should have been exposed to key tasks and responsibilities in a similar environment, including:
- Overseeing daily service operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
- Managing bar activities, including inventory management and maintaining stock levels.
- Handling customer interactions, feedback, and resolving issues promptly.
- Supervising and training bar and support staff to maintain high service standards.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the bar and service areas.
- Assisting in planning and executing promotions and special events.
A strong background of 4 to 5 years minimum in the industry is essential, and relevant studies in hospitality or business administration are a plus. We offer an initial salary of 26,000-29,000 Ksh (depending on experience) for a job that takes six days a week.
