Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Senior Sous Chef role at The Lawns Restaurant in Kampala, Uganda. The Senior Sous Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating new dishes, managing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality and consistency.
Qualifications
- Experience in cooking with game meat and exotic ingredients
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Creativity in menu development and dish presentation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in fine dining or high-end restaurants is a plus
