Senior Reservations Consultant| Tour Series and Allocation
The Senior Reservations Consultant for Tour Series and Allocations will play a critical role in optimizing room allocations and tour series for Destination Management Companies (DMCs) to maximize occupancy and revenue for Sopa Lodges. This role involves ensuring efficient handling of room inventory, accurately processing tour series and allocations, managing release periods, securing and updating recaps in a timely manner, and running reports as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Reservations and Revenue, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
● Prepare and issue tour series and allocation contracts to bonafide trade partners
● Maintain top-notch communication with current and new agents.
● Ensure the reservation team processes all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations in accordance with established policies and procedures
● Encourage upselling, cross-selling, circuit bookings, and alternative options to maximize revenue.
● Create, maintain and update accurate records within the CRS (Central Reservation System).
● Maintain an established filing system for all correspondence and compile reports as required by the Head of Reservations and Revenue.
● Attend weekly and monthly department meetings and prepare accordingly.
● Schedule regular trade partner trainings on tour series and allocations
● Ensure that all policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by the team.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business or a related field (preferred).
● Proven 5 Years experience in reservations management within the hospitality industry.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
● Exceptional customer service and sales skills.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
