Senior HR and Administrative Officer

A Senior HR and Administrative Officer is directly responsible for the employee life cycle and management of all employees as well as ensuring the smooth running of all HR department functions. Drop Access Limited is seeking a profoundly coordinated and experienced Senior HR and Administrative Officer to oversee the daily operations of our human resources and administrative departments. This role will be crucial in ensuring the company’s operations run smoothly. The qualified candidate will manage employee relations, policies and procedures, recruitment and retention, and general office administration. In addition, he or she should be experienced in HR management and should have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Organize and coordinate office operations and procedures, ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the administrative department as well as manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are consistently applied and updated in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Oversee and manage the performance appraisal process to ensure fair and effective feedback.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, ensuring the organization’s compliance.
  • Prepare reports for management, as needed, regarding HR metrics, compliance, and administrative issues.
  • Nurture a positive working environment and provide guidance to employees in various HR-related topics.
QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as an HR and Administration Manager or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.) and administrative processes.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial terminology is a plus.
