Senior Data Analyst
Location: Nairobi
Reports to: Chief Technology Officer

Position Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Nairobi. In this role, you will analyze large datasets from, transform data into actionable insights, and develop predictive models to optimize fleet operations and battery utilization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-based decisions that support the scaling of e-mobility across Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Insights: Manage large IoT datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency, and critically leverage reports and dashboards to provide insights into infrastructure and battery performance.
- Predictive Modeling & Machine Learning: Develop and deploy predictive models for asset performance, maintenance, and infrastructure optimization using machine learning algorithms where needed.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define key metrics and effectively communicate findings through visualizations and reports.
- Data Governance: Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance across operations, and continually improve data quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
● 5+ years of experience in data analysis or data science,
● Experience in managing a small team
● Proficiency in data tools such as Python, R, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
● Experience with complex time series or machine learning algorithms and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
● Hands-on experience with API integration for data workflows is a plus
● Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
