Location: Ol Kalou and Naivasha
Reporting to: Farm Manager
Nr. of positions: 2(1 in Olkalou & 1 in Naivasha)

Job objective
The Senior Agronomist plays a crucial role in production to ensure that all operations run efficiently and effectively. They work hand in hand with the Farm Manager to ensure set strategic objectives are met in the Farm.
Job description
- Supervise and manage production activities in all areas of the farm
- Proper planning and management of all production activities in the farm
- Prepare spray program in coordination with the Head of Spray and ensure proper crop rotation
- Generate 4 weeks’ harvest predictions with the head of harvesting
- Train, supervise and motivate labor/team for maximum production and productivity
- Address cases of indiscipline promptly and report to HR
- Take part in farm audits and support to ensure compliance
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time
Working & personal characteristics
- Knowledge in crop production, crop protection / fertigation, post-harvest handling and market trends.
- At least 5 years experience in an a similar role in an agricultural setup
- A degree or diploma in an Agriculture/Horticulture course or equivalent
- Ability to communicate in fluent English and Swahili both in writing and verbally
- Problem solving ability and keen to details
- Adaptability, accountability and ability to deliver on set deadlines
- Good leadership, confidentiality and Integrity
- Team player and proactive
