Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join our team. This position will be integral to our accounting department, overseeing all accounting functions and leading our finance team toward sustained efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations of the accounting department to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
2. Being a manager, the candidate’s responsibility is to supervise and lead a team of accountants, providing support and guidance as necessary.
3. Manage and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Ensure compliance with all accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations.
5. Review and approve all journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions.
6. Inventory management and reconciliations on weekly basis.
7. Filing of VAT returns, Withholding VAT, Withholding Tax, and any other returns as applicable.
8. Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities during audits and examinations.
9. Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
10. Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
11. Collaborate with various departments to assist in financial planning and decision-making.
12. The candidate’s responsibilities includes: Detailed record keeping and filing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounts & Finance, or CPA
At least 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (Must).
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
