We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Manager to join our team in Abuja.
Job Description:
The Security Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of security operations. This includes developing and implementing security policies, managing the security team, coordinating incident responses, recruitment of guards, training and development of guards, site surveillance, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in security operations, and a proactive approach to risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead and manage the security operations team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Oversee the response to security incidents, breaches, and emergencies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance overall security.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of security systems, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
- Develop and manage the budget for security operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and compliance to senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to address security concerns and implement best practices.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and law enforcement agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, HND in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security operations or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in security systems and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
