REACH for Uganda, A US non-profit that supports quality education in Uganda, and its Uganda partner, the Arlington Academy of Hope, (AAH Uganda) have a 20-year history of providing and supporting quality education, healthcare and community development in the Bududa, Namisindwa and Manafwa districts of eastern Uganda. They are now completing construction of the first phase of the Hawthorne-Scribner High School in Bududa that will bring the highest standards of quality secondary education to eastern Uganda, offering an international outlook and competitiveness yet remaining relevant to local needs. The school is expected to open on February 15, 2025.
The school is seeking 15 teachers for 2025 for its S1, S2, and S5 classes. The ideal applicant must hold a university degree (preferably in Education) in any of the following subjects: History, Political Education, English Language, Literature in English, Geography, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Religious Education, Entrepreneurship, Kiswahili, Physical Education, Information Technology, Agriculture, Art and Design. Preferably, the applicant must be registered as a Teacher with the Ministry of Education and Sports and hold at least three years’ experience in secondary school teaching.
