Lately, AFFOSHED has launched a campaign of linking up ERA-Certified Wiremen to electrical installation opportunities in Uganda!

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Sales Specialist at AFFOSHED CO. LIMITED. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for my procuring electrical installation jobs, customer service, sales activities and tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Skills

  • Technical knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, installations, and industry standards.
  • Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with clients, understand their needs, and explain technical information.
  • Sales and marketing skills: Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, with a focus on electrical installations.
  • Customer service skills: Strong customer service skills to build relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve client concerns, and offer solutions.
  • Time management and organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Industry certifications: Certifications like EIP (ERA Installation Permit) shall be of added advantage.
  • Business acumen: Understanding of business operations, finance, and project management.
  • Networking skills: Ability to build relationships with clients, partners, and industry professionals.
  • Adaptability and continuous learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry developments, new technologies, and company offerings.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Local market knowledge: Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and market trends.
  • Proposal and tender writing skills: Ability to create compelling proposals and tenders.
  • Negotiation and closing skills: Ability to negotiate and close deals.
