The Salesperson is responsible To drive sales of auto spare parts by building strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions to achieve sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
• Identify and approach potential customers, including auto repair shops, car dealerships, and individual buyers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Present and promote the company’s range of auto spare parts to meet customer needs.
• Stay updated on the company’s inventory, including new arrivals, product specifications, and technical details.
• Educate customers about product features, benefits, and compatibility.
• Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and process orders efficiently.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities.
• Provide insights to the management team on customer preferences and emerging market demands.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order details.
• Prepare regular sales reports and present performance metrics to the sales manager.
• Address customer complaints or issues related to product quality or delivery.
• Provide solutions and escalate unresolved matters to the relevant departments.
• Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
• Collaborate with inventory and procurement teams to ensure product availability.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify strategies to boost sales performance and address challenges.
Job Requirements
- Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent (a degree in business, sales, or a related field is a plus).
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English language is preferred.
- Mobility:Ability to travel as required for meetings.
- Experience:
o Proven minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the auto spare parts industry or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
o Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of automotive parts, components, and their applications.
