Sales Officer – Modular Homes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential customers through various sales strategies, including outreach, networking, and cold calling.
  • Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their housing needs, preferences, and budget, providing personalized recommendations for modular home solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our modular homes, including the different designs, features, benefits, and customization options available.
  • Lead Management: Manage and nurture leads throughout the sales process, ensuring timely follow-ups and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, both in-person and virtually.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract details with customers to close sales successfully.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Networking & partnership: Working with all possible partners to enhance the target audience base. These partners include but not limited to financial institutions, regulatory bodies, influencers in construction space, NGOs, government institutions, parastatals, etc.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, design, and production) to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial inquiry to home delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Nominal experience in design and sales of residential homes, construction, or modular home industry.
  • Strong understanding of design and interiors in construction.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks effectively.

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction.
  • Architectural background will be an added advantage
  • Previous experience selling modular homes or similar products.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy-efficient home solutions.
