Job Title: Sales Manager – Renewable

About the job
- Contribute to shaping the departmental strategy as derived from the overarching functional strategy.
- Spearhead the identification, evaluation, and analysis of the local renewables market forecasting anticipated needs, potential applications, and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve renewable energy sales targets across West Africa. Collaborate with sales, technical, and after-sales teams to strengthen client networks and optimize returns.
- Provide critical input on various supply chain aspects related to renewables, including forecasting, logistics, assembly, site delivery, and stock availability. Coordinate closely with supply chain functions for seamless operations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in the photovoltaic (PV) field while fostering lasting partnerships with customers, dealers, vendors, and other industry collaborators.
- Define solar project scopes, deliverables, designs, and implementation plans. Monitor execution, track performance, and ensure projects meet quality, cost, and timeframe expectations while maintaining full control.
- Prepare designs, drawings, and specifications for On-Grid, Off-Grid, and Hybrid Solar Systems. Ensure alignment with direct customer needs or representatives such as consultants, project managers, and contractors. Work with business development, sales, and after-sales teams on installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Develop and conduct training sessions, awareness programs, and workshops for technical and sales teams, exhibition attendees, and potential customers. Establish and maintain standardized procedures for renewables.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote Renewable and Hybrid Solutions. Actively participate in exhibitions, seminars, and events to engage potential stakeholders in the energy sector.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in renewable energy by staying updated on the latest trends, innovations, and hybrid solutions. Keep internal teams informed on new developments in the industry.
- Deliver timely reports on potential and ongoing projects, emerging technologies, competitors, and industry trends to support informed decision-making within the organization.
- Extend support to affiliate companies within the group, ensuring alignment with corporate goals in the sales and renewables sector.
Requirements
- University degree / HND. Business Management, Marketing is a plus.
- 5- 7 years’ experience in a similar role.
- 3 years supervisory / Managerial experience.
