Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth across multiple regions and channels in Lagos, Ondo, and Edo States.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for technology and renewable energy solutions.
  • As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales operations, developing strategic plans, and achieving sales targets while fostering strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth in key markets.
  • Team Management: Lead, Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets. Provide ongoing training and development to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Market Research: Analyze trends, identify opportunities, and track competitor activities.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance and report to senior management.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to the senior leadership team. Use data to track and analyze sales performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, finance, customer service, and other teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead high-level negotiations with potential clients and close large-scale sales deals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive long-term business opportunities.
  • Marketing Campaings: Oversee digital marketing, trade shows, promotional events, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and refine sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Passion for sustainable energy solutions and technology products.
  • Eager to grow and advance within the company.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar industry (renewable energy, technology, or consumer electronics is a plus).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
