Sales Executive

Role Overview:

As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing strong customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless service delivery. You will collaborate with teams to enhance efficiency, optimize sales processes, and provide outstanding customer support.

Additionally, you will be responsible for training, onboarding, and increasing awareness of our services while identifying growth opportunities. You will act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and strategic solutions.

Responsibilities

1.Account Management & Customer Success:

  • Develop and nurture customer relationships to meet and exceed market share targets.
  • Implement rigorous account management practices to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Create strategic account plans to foster engagement and drive revenue growth.

2.Sales & Negotiation:

  • Provide consultative sales by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with a focus on product value, long-term benefits, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify new product opportunities within existing customers and propose solutions to drive incremental business growth

3.Strategy & Performance Optimization:

  • Develop retention and growth strategies aligned with customer and Travelport business goals.
  • Track key customer performance metrics, identify trends, and improve sales processes.
  • Work with internal teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

4. Internal Collaboration & Communication:

  • Attend regular internal meetings, building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Translate Travelport terminology into customer-friendly language and insights.
  • Cultivate relationships with key users and decision-makers within agency locations.

5.Technology & Training:

  • Maintain deep knowledge of Travelport products, providing professional demonstrations and functional support.
  • Assist in training and onboarding efforts for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify training and support opportunities.

6.Customer Support & Reporting:

  • Ensure the customer database system is always up to date for effective performance tracking and effective customer communication.
  • Relay competitive intelligence with management and contribute to strategy discussions.
  • Be part of the after-hours support team for your customer portfolio.
  • Provide regular updates to the Line manager on agency trends, challenges, and opportunities.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of two years’ experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of the travel technology landscape and the Travelport business model.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools to manage customer interactions.

 

Skills & Expertise:

  • Proven sales leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable solutions.
  • IATA Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
