Position Title: Sales Executive

Reports to: GM & Managing Director

Terms of Employment: Fixed-term contract (12-18 months)

Salary: Fixed Base Pay + commission (to be shared for the selected applicant).

Expected start date: As soon as possible.

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Basic Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales or a related field. Experience in B2B sales or environmental services may be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with potential clients.
  • Basic math and computer skills. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
  • Should be able to commute to the job site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales strategy: You will be responsible for implementing the company’s sales strategy, including identifying potential customers and developing sales pitches.
  • Customer acquisition: You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, including identifying leads, making sales calls, and giving presentations.
  • Product knowledge: You will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, including their features, benefits, and pricing.
  • Relationship building: You will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, including providing excellent customer service and follow-up.
  • Sales targets: You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company, such as revenue or customer acquisition goals.
  • Reporting: You will be responsible for preparing and presenting reports on sales activities, customer acquisition, and progress toward sales targets to management.
  • Collaboration: You will be responsible for collaborating with other other departments, such as operations, to ensure that sales strategies align with the overall business strategy.
  • Product promotion: You will be responsible for promoting the company’s products and services through various channels, such as social media, etc.
  • Innovation: You will be responsible for identifying and implementing new and innovative sales strategies and technologies that can help the company achieve its sales targets.
