Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for hospitality and customer service, along with industry knowledge of the hospitality sector. You will play a critical role in ensuring our restaurant delivers an exceptional guest experience while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Operations Management:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring all procedures and standards are met.

• Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure timely stock replenishment.

• Monitor the restaurant’s expenses, control costs, and maximize profitability.

2.Customer Service Excellence:

• Ensure exceptional customer service standards, addressing customer feedback and resolving any issues promptly.

• Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests and staff.

• Implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and retention.

3.Staff Supervision and Development:

• Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.

• Schedule shifts and manage employee time to maintain efficient operations.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback, fostering growth and development.

4.Financial Management:

• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and meet profit goals.

• Analyze sales and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping, including cash handling and payroll management.

5.Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.

• Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure all operations align with local and state laws.

6.Marketing and Promotions:

• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and events.

• Develop initiatives to drive traffic and increase sales, especially during peak and off-peak times.

• Engage with the community and seek partnerships to boost brand visibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

• Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including inventory management, cost control, and quality assurance.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.

• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, sales analysis, and profit and loss statements.

• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in restaurant management software and MS Office Suite.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field.

• Industry knowledge of the hospitality sector is a strong advantage.

• Previous experience in a high-volume or fine dining environment.

Salary: 300,000 naira
