About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned and innovative Executive Head Chef to lead the culinary team at Seven Seafood & Grill working under the guidance of Executive Head Chef, Kiran Jethwa. For 14 years Seven has been renowned for its exceptional dining experiences and culinary
innovation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in creating and executing world-class menus while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
● Menu Development: Develop and oversee the creation of innovative and seasonally inspired menus that reflect the restaurant's culinary philosophy and target audience.
● Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a talented culinary team, ensuring their professional development and motivation.
● Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control standards for all food and beverage products, from sourcing ingredients to plating dishes.
● Cost Management: Oversee food costs and implement strategies to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
● Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels effectively to minimize waste and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
● Guest Satisfaction: Foster a positive dining experience for guests by ensuring exceptional service and culinary excellence.
● Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
● Operations Management: Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
Qualifications and Experience:
● Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Head Chef or a similar senior culinary role in a high-end restaurant.
● Proven track record of success in creating and executing innovative menus.
