Reservations Officer

This is a full-time on-site role as a Reservations Officer at GOLD CREST HOTEL LTD located in Arusha. The Reservations Officer will be responsible for managing reservation inquiries, processing reservations, coordinating with different hotel departments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Hotel Reservation may vary, but generally include the following:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails from customers who are interested in making reservations or have questions about their reservations.
  • Providing customers with information about the hotel’s accommodation options, rates, and amenities.
  • Processing reservations, cancellations, and modifications using reservation software.
  • Collecting and processing payments from guests.
  • Updating and maintaining customer information in the reservation system.
  • Providing guests with directions and recommendations for local attractions and restaurants.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management
  • 2-3 Years of working experience in Reservation Job
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
