Remittance Product Manager – Diaspora Banking and Remittances

Reporting to the Head – Diaspora Banking & Remittances, partnering with the MTOs and Bank’s ICT team to craft products that add value and enhance customer experiences.

The Role:

Specifically, the successful jobholder will be required to:

  • Work with ICT on new cross-border product development, enhancements, and innovations
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, controls, and expected deliverables
  • Partner with ICT on system integrations and testing
  • Timely submission of project progress reports to all stakeholders
  • Delivery of project quality standard based on the agreed timelines
  • Conduct post project evaluation and dissemination activities for stakeholders
  • Ensure high availability and reliability of critical services/system success rate through monitoring and remediation of technical vulnerabilities in a timely manner
  • Remittance transaction and volume performance reporting
  • Branch remittance performance reporting
  • Sub-agent remittance performance reporting
  • MTO and branch Support on System Issues
  • Reconciliation of remittance transactions

Skills, Competencies and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of 3 years of IT/Product Management experience in FinTech/Money/Transfer business
  • Proven track record of leading the development and implementation of successful product strategies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and proven ability to leverage data in decision making.
  • High level collaboration skills and ability to work in a team environment with a focus of winning as a team.
  • Demonstrate a solid awareness in risk management whilst driving service excellence.
