REGIONAL MANAGER

Act, 2003. Pride is now looking for young, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill the following positions.
1. REGIONAL MANAGER
The Regional Manager reports to Manager
Distribution and is responsible for Leveraging and
optimising people resources, multi channels, business,
and risk controls in line with market potential to
maximize business growth, retention and profitability
targets for the region.
Specific responsibilities for job position include;
1. Drive service excellence in the region by
planning, continuous monitoring, enforcement
of SLAs, service standards and service initiatives
with the bank
2. Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the
implementation of branch work plan /activities
in line with regional work plan and support teams
to attain branch targets and objectives.
3. Keep abreast of local market dynamics, identify
changes, risks and opportunities.
4. Develop business and marketing strategies for
the region to enable achievement of revenue,
profitability, operating budget and customer
satisfaction targets at both branch and individual
levels.
5. Define the work plan for the region in line with
the defined business Strategy.
6. Propose improvements to systems and
process/information flows

7. Manage operational issues in the Region and
ensure provision of necessary resources for
effective operational performance in line with the
budget and business plan.
8. Drive and manage the delivery of multi channels
sales and service strategy across the region to
attract, grow and retain quality and efficiency.
9. Provide oversight over implementation of bank
risk management programs across all branches
within the region.
10. Identify and assess the risks faced by the Branch
within the region and maintain an effective
system of controls to minimize exposure.
11. Manage and monitor compliance with
procedures, bank policies and guidelines
throughout the assigned region (by undertaking
periodic reviews of credit requests, KYC, ATM
cash counts, etc.)
12. Relationship management with clients and
potential clients to enhance acquisition, retention,
and growth.
13. Drive and maintain high standard of customer
service and satisfaction while ensuring that
queries and/or complaints are handled promptly
with due care.
14. Provide supervisory leadership to the
department and lead in the implementation of

the performance management and Human
Resources practices of the Bank
Financial Responsibility
Responsible for the delivery of annual Regional and
branch budgets
Minimum Academic Education & Training
Bachelor’s degree in business administration,
Commerce or other related fields
Skills & Experience
• 6 years’ experience in a Banking Business Growth
role with 2 years as a Branch Manager
• Must be result driven, critical thinking, analytical,
attention to detail and problem-solving skills with
ability to think logically.
• The successful candidate will be someone who
can demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple
priorities, successfully resolve complex matters,
easily understand processes/workflows, identify
risks, and effectively tailor their communication
(written/verbal) to their audience in a clear and
concise manner.
• Should have a good understanding of Branch
Banking systems, process and business.
• Excellent networking skills, with the ability to
build rapport and consultatively engage with
employees, managers etc.

• Ability to think out of the box and drive change
and innovation.

and in written form.
• Takes clear accountability and focuses on delivery
of broader corporate goals.
• Ability to take decisions and progress towards
