Quotations Assistant

In this role, you will be required to demonstrate technical pharmaceutical product knowledge to meet and exceed sales targets, prepare and manage customer quotations and ensure competitive pricing to drive sales performance. Additionally, the incumbent will prepare and follow up on quotations to maximize conversions, maintain strong customer relationship, and contribute to the overall sales strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and process customer quotations accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure competitive pricing by liaising with suppliers and understanding market trends.
- Drive sales performance by providing product recommendations and technical insights to existing and new customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with both suppliers and customers.
- Follow up on quotations to convert them into successful sales.
- Process LPOs on the system and orders for non-available goods.
- Assist the Quotation Manager with the management of quotations/sales administration functions, operational performance reporting, and streamlining processes and systems.
- Ensure effective communication and follow up with issues raised that require coordination, by actively engaging with the Heads of Department and staff of Harley’s Limited.
- Ensure that all sales enquiries and requests for quotations are printed and quoted within the set deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Pharmacy or any science-related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical product sales.
- Supplier knowledge, familiarity with pharmaceutical suppliers and procurement processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to drive sales.
- Attention to detail and ability to provide accurate cost-effectiveness quotations.
- Working knowledge of systems i.e., SAP, Sage, NetSuite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
