We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Ikeja, GRA, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

  • Prepare accurate project cost estimates and budgets for materials, labor, and equipment.

Contract Management:

  • Review and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and legal standards.

Procurement:

  • Source materials and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing without compromising quality.

Cost Control:

  • Monitor project expenditures, identify cost variances, and implement corrective measures to maintain budget adherence.

Valuations and Payments:

  • Prepare valuations for interim and final payments and manage subcontractor payments.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate financial and operational impacts.

Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders and ensure timely updates on project progress.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Other responsibilities assigned to you.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction or interior design projects.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with luxury interior design and high-end construction projects is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
