Job Title: Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Officer
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
- Update HSE statistice boards, track collate and analyze QHSE data and indicators.
- Coordinate associate QHSE training, induction and certification.
- Conduct accident and incident investigation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to ensure validity of relevant certificates.
- Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure that quality procedures are communicated and adhered to by employees.
- Maintain programs and policies for monitoring and preventing chemical, physical and biohazards in the base, in other locations as well as to personnel
- Coordinate HSE meetings and collate HSE statistics
- Perform and track field/shop HSE audits, preventive action and follow up.
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / OND / HND qualification with 3 – 5 years work experience.
