Job Brief
- The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and specifications.
- This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, documenting findings, and reporting any defects or deviations from quality standards.
- The Quality Inspector works closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor production processes to ensure they are operating within established quality parameters.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including measurements, test results, and any defects or non-conformances.
- Prepare and submit regular quality reports to the Quality Control Manager or Supervisor.
- Document any corrective actions taken to address quality issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Conduct in-process inspections and audits to identify potential quality issues.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and consistency
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions for identified quality issues.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure they are effective and sustained.
- Participate in root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure that all products comply with company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and report any deviations from quality standards.
