Responsibilities:
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications and conducting measurement test at intervals.
- Conducting hourly quality checks on all printing and conversion machines as per the quality plan.
- Leading and advising operators and machine attendants on appropriate changes/adjustments for ongoing jobs as per quality checks parameters.
- Conducting visual inspections and communicating required adjustments to production team leaders.
- Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications through conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approving finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.
- Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs.
- Conducting and keeping track of calibration and servicing of quality control working tools and equipment.
- Following up on customer complaints, responding to emails and developing measures to provide sustainable solutions.
- Updating customer register and internal mistakes book and making follow up.
- Raising isolation forms, making follow up, and closure.
- Handover in terms of non-conforming goods during production to be sorted as required.
- Filing all quality documents including job cards, Job approval, traceability, in process & EE and ensuring they are duly signed.
- Any other duties as and when assign by management from time to time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, analytical chemistry or any other related field.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food safety in a manufacturing set up and especially paper industry.
