KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise technicians/mechanics, ensuring procedures follow the Maintenance Manual and other authoritative documents.
- Determine spares, tooling, and equipment needs in advance and ensure all materials and personnel are available for tasks.
- Maintain discipline and motivation among personnel, encouraging constructive proposals,
- Ensure equipment and tools are maintained in a serviceable state.
- Keep personnel occupied with various duties when no scheduled work is available.
- Maintain high standards of documentation and ensure all required paperwork is completed and signed before certifying aircraft release.
- Stay updated with MPM, CARS, maintenance programs, manufacturers’ manuals, airworthiness notices, ADs, and SBs.
- Ensure adequate firefighting equipment is available and prominently displayed in the hangar.
- Take preventive and corrective action for deficiencies found during audits and reported incidents.
- Inspect and tag ground support equipment and tooling, maintaining records for inventory trace and control.
- Conduct final quality assurance inspections on approved major modifications and repairs before aircraft release, as required by KCAA

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree/Diploma in aeronautical engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution with over 8 years of
- Be a licensed CAT A & C, DashB-Q400 rated, with a minimum of three years’ experience in maintaining and release to service
