For the Succulents Production Department, we are looking for a Quality Assuarance Lead.

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Lead at Lathyflora Kenya, located in Redhill, Limuru. The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for overseeing quality control, quality assurance, quality management and conducting quality audits on our ornamental cuttings to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Horticulture or equivalent.
- At least 4 years work experience in quality assurance in URC production.
- Excellent quality management systems experience.
- Conversant with the 5-Why and Fishbone methodology.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Excellent Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience in pests and diseases identification.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision & a team player.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to secure the quality of our cuttings in all the processes.
- Team training on all the aspects of quality assurance.
- Develop and review quality assurance protocols and procedures for different crops.
- Communicate and demonstrate quality standards to all the stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections in all our production sites and post-harvest facilities.
- Conduct root cause analysis to address all quality issues.
- Prepare and provide quality reports to all the stakeholders.
- Oversee customer complaint management and coordinate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
