Quality Assurance Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Monitoring – As the QAP intern, you will help to monitor the quality of chicken and chicken parts; both fresh and frozen.
  • Documentation – You will help to record and file all documents related to chicken production including farm visit and assessment records, production records, and organoleptic assessment records.
  • Training and Compliance – You will be involved in the training of farmers and casuals. You will also be involved in certifications that are relevant to the company.
  • Flock monitoring – You will work with farmers for the whole production cycle of their farms; helping with disease control and biosecurity.
  • Collaboration – You will work closely with the fish processing team when needed as well as the sales team in case of any returns or inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or Diploma in Food Science, Animal Health, Veterinary Medicine, or any related field.
  • Be indexed/registered by the respective board of their career.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
