Job Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all furniture production processes meet the highest standards of quality. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems and practices, as well as monitoring production processes to ensure consistent output that aligns with company and industry standards. The Quality Manager will collaborate closely with the production and design teams to drive continuous improvement in quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance Systems
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance systems to ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations and international standards.
- Monitor production processes and conduct regular inspections to identify potential quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Compliance and Standards
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer-specific requirements throughout the production process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and standards, ensuring the company stays ahead in quality assurance practices.
- Continuous Improvement
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve quality in both production and design.
- Analyze data from production and quality assurance reports to identify trends, areas of improvement, and root causes of quality issues.
- Training and Development
- Train production staff on quality standards and inspection techniques.
- Work closely with the production team to improve skills and understanding of quality control processes.
- Quality Audits
- Conduct regular audits of the production process and finished products to ensure they meet company and international standards.
- Prepare and present audit reports to the senior management team, including recommendations for improvement.
- Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure all customer feedback related to product quality is captured, addressed, and used to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with the customer service and sales teams to resolve quality-related complaints.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and industry standards (e.g., ISO certification).
