Responsible for: M&E Officer, Biostatistician, Medical Officers, Medical Social Worker, and Data Officer.
Job Purpose: To manage the daily operations of G2G program activities, working with the Hospital Management to ensure the effective provision of HIVIA Ds prevention, care and treatment services and coordinate USAID Project activities.
Qualifications:
1. MBChB. Degree from a recognized University, a Master of Medicine in Public Health or Family medicine and 3 years working experience in HIV care and management.
2. Must be registered with Uganda Medical and Dental practitioners Council.
3. Must have a valid Practicing license.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in work-planning and budgeting activities for the project
- Writing reports and submitting them to the Project Manager for onward transmission to Top Management and partners
- Respond to requests for information from Top Management and USAID on the progress of the project milestones
- Coordinate the implementation of planned activities and interventions according to the work plan
- Actively participate in periodic meetings at the management level whenever required
- Take stock of challenges encountered by implementing teams and lead the generation of interventions to overcome the identified challenges
- Furnish the Hospital Director with progress reports of the planned activities.
- Working with Heads of Departments to develop schedules of duties and performance plans for all project-supported staff.
- Take the lead in organizing Quarterly review meetings & annual evaluations on project Performance.
- Reviewing Staff attendance to duty, approving timesheets, and endorsing to HR Department for Payments of Salaries & Wages
