Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Production: Manage the production process, ensuring efficient and safe operation of semi-automated equipment.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate production staff, providing guidance and training.
- Safety and Hygiene: Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on production performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements, increasing efficiency and reducing waste.
- Quality Control: Monitor product quality, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Scheduling and Planning: Plan and schedule production, managing raw materials and inventory.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND in any Food related or Engineering field.
- 2+ years of experience in a bakery or food production environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food safety certification (is an added advantage).
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Knowledge of semi-automated bakery equipment and processes
