Position: Production Manager
Department: Production
Location: Atanda Badmus Abijo GRA
Reports To: Managing Director
Key Job Responsibilities:
1. Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines and quality standards.
2. Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
3. Monitor daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and minimize downtime.
4. Ensure product quality through inspections and quality control measures.
5. Manage budgets and control costs related to materials, labor, and equipment.
6. Oversee equipment maintenance and recommend upgrades for efficiency.
7. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
8. Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Minimum of 4 years in production management, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in production planning and design software, knowledge of woodworking machinery, and understanding of quality control principles.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
